In 2016, we set out to innovate local food distribution, connecting brands with grocery retailers using a cutting-edge order-to-cash technology platform called FreshSpoke. Over the years, we observed a significant shift in the retail sector. With our deep-rooted experience in building robust technology and our practical insights as distributors working closely with retailers, we saw an opportunity to extend our impact beyond local food.2023 was a pivotal year for us. It was marked by unprecedented challenges that pushed us to think bigger, to innovate beyond our initial scope, and to harness our strengths in new, impactful ways.Emerging from this challenging period, we rebranded and relaunched as Purchs in 2024. This transformation was not just a change of name but a profound evolution in our mission and capabilities. We focused on creating a platform that could alleviate the burdens faced by merchants and vendors by centralizing and simplifying their interactions.
